Headteacher John Fletcher said, “The students who sat their GCSE exams this year have done incredibly well - it shows that focus, hard work, and belief secures positive outcomes.  83% of the cohort achieved at least 5 passes including English and Maths at grade 4, with 65% achieving this milestone at grade 5 and above.   90% of the students passed their Maths and an English GCSE at grade 4 and above.  There are many individual successes that have led to the overall outcome for the school, the important aspect of the individual performances is the gateway to the next stage of their education which for the majority will be with us here at Charters Sixth Form.  We congratulate each and every one of our students for working so hard to achieve the grades they have today, and their families and staff who have supported them through the exam season and before.

For those who are leaving, we wish you all the very best in the next stage of your exciting educational journey whatever that may be.”
