Commenting on the students’ results, Headmistress, Sarah Rollings, said, “Here at Heathfield we place tremendous value on drawing out each and every girl’s strengths and nurturing her unique talent to enable her to fulfil her dreams and potential. All of our students are very happy with their results but have also triumphed in other aspects of their lives be that photography, sport, music or drama. We have watched our sixth formers blossom into well-rounded and confident individuals, and their A Level results this year reflect their determination and hard work, supported all the way by our talented staff and of course, their parents. The levels of commitment and dedication they have displayed are second to none. I’m so proud of their achievements.”

About Heathfield School

Happy confident girls succeed – that’s the simple but powerful philosophy at Heathfield School. Founded in 1899, Heathfield was in the vanguard of educational establishments advocating the theory that happiness equated with academic success and has always placed high importance on pastoral care accordingly.

In its latest ISI Inspection the school achieved ‘Excellent in all categories’. The inspectors found that: ‘the overall achievement of the pupils is excellent and represents the successful fulfilment of the School’s ambitious aims’. They also stated that ‘pupils are happy, articulate and confident’ and that ‘pupils grow into young people who make a difference to the world and live their lives boldly’.

Heathfield was shortlisted by the Times Educational Supplement (TES) in 2020 for its Boarding School of the Year Award, alongside Wellington and Rugby.
