Chairman of Rotary Ascot - Andrew Vallance presented trophies, certificates and prizes to the winning teams from the 2017 Sunninghill New Year Wheelbarrow Race, at the Carpenters pub/french restaurant in upper village road, sunninghill.

Race organiser, David Mear,  also thanked the Race sponsors - De Veres, Ascot Racecourse, Strutt and Parker and Maloneys Budgens in Ascot. Organised by Rotary Ascot, 19 teams took part in glorious winter sunshine, raising a significant some of money.  Organisers report that, with 19 teams participating, they should be able to donate another £7,000 to the Ascot & District Day Centre, with a little left for the Rotary Charities.
